Coventry Blinds & Shutters

What are Perfect Fit blinds and how do they work?

Perfect Fit blinds are a type of blind that clips directly into the rubber beading of uPVC window and door frames. No drilling, no screws, no brackets on the wall. The blind sits inside the frame itself, flush against the glass.

They work by using a spring-loaded frame that snaps into the existing window bead. This means the blind moves with the window when you tilt it open or close it. The window sill stays completely clear.

Perfect Fit is available as a roller, pleated, or venetian blind. You choose the fabric and style, and the frame is made to the exact dimensions of your window bead.

They are popular for three main reasons. First, rental properties where landlords do not allow drilling into frames. Second, conservatories where there are many windows to cover and drilling each one is impractical. Third, tilt-and-turn windows where a standard blind would block the opening mechanism.

Another benefit is child safety. There are no loose cords or chains hanging from a Perfect Fit blind, which makes them a safe option for homes with young children.

The only limitation is that they require uPVC frames with a removable bead. Wooden or aluminium frames are not compatible.

We measure and fit Perfect Fit blinds across Coventry at no extra charge.
