How long does professional blind fitting take?
Fitting a single blind typically takes 10 to 20 minutes. A full house with 8 to 12 windows usually takes half a day, roughly 2 to 4 hours including setting up and cleaning away.
The time depends on the blind type and the window. Roller blinds and vertical blinds are the fastest to fit because they use simple bracket systems. Two or three screws per bracket and the blind clicks into place.
Shutters take longer. Each panel needs to be levelled precisely and the frame may need trimming to fit the window opening exactly. A single window with shutters can take 30 to 45 minutes. A bay window with multiple shutter panels can take over an hour.
Perfect Fit blinds are quick because there is no drilling at all. The frame clips into the window bead in under five minutes per window. A conservatory with 10 or more Perfect Fit blinds can be done in a couple of hours.
Electric blinds add a small amount of time for setting up the motor, pairing the remote control, and testing the operation. If mains wiring is involved rather than battery power, an electrician may be needed separately.
Our fitters work cleanly and leave no mess. We bring dust sheets and take away all packaging. The fitting appointment is booked at a time that works for you.
All fitting is included free of charge with every order from Coventry Blinds & Shutters.
